Terms & Conditions
1. Introduction
By accessing or using sentastours.com (“the Website”) and booking services through Senta’s Tours (“the Company,” “we,” “our”), you (“you,” “Client”) agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully. If you do not agree, do not proceed with booking or using our site.
2. Scope & Applicability
These terms govern all bookings, travel services, and related activities arranged by the Company, including transport, accommodations, excursions, park permits, guided tours, and other tourism services in Uganda and beyond.
3. Bookings, Payment & Confirmation
- A booking becomes confirmed once we receive full payment and send you a booking confirmation email or invoice. This constitutes the acceptance of a contract between you and the Company.
- Bookings made less than four weeks before the start date require immediate full payment.
4. Pricing, Changes & Adjustments
- All prices are based on current hotel and accommodation rates, park entry fees, permits, transportation charges, taxes, and other supplier costs at the time of booking.
- If any of these costs increase after booking due to supplier or government adjustments (e.g., hotel rate changes, fuel surcharges, park fee changes, currency fluctuations, or tax increases), we reserve the right to pass these changes on to you.
- We also reserve the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, or services due to unforeseen situations. We’ll inform you promptly and provide reasonable alternatives where possible.
5. Cancellations & Refunds
- If you cancel after payment, refunds will depend on the timing of your cancellation and any supplier policies.
- In case of tour cancellation by us (e.g., due to force majeure), we will refund all monies paid, but in such circumstances our liability is limited to refund only.
6. Force Majeure & Uncontrollable Events
We shall not be held liable for delays, disruptions, or unfulfilled services caused by events beyond our control—such as civil unrest, weather, natural disasters, mechanical failure, or government restrictions.
7. Passports, Visas & Health Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring valid travel documents (passports, visas, health certificates, insurance, vaccinations). We cannot accept liability for issues arising from missing or improper documentation.
8. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, trip interruption, and cancellation is mandatory for all clients. Adequate coverage is your responsibility.
9. Liability & Risk
- Tours may involve inherent risks. You assume all such risks, and indemnify the Company against any loss, injury, or damage, except in the case of proven negligence by the Company or its staff.
- Liability is limited to the amount paid for the respective service, unless otherwise stated or restricted by applicable law.
10. Complaints & Dispute Resolution
Any issues during the tour should be reported immediately to our representative or local service provider for resolution. Claims must be submitted in writing within 30 days of tour completion.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Website—design, images, text, trademarks—is owned by the Company. Unauthorized copying, distribution, or modification is prohibited.
12. Use of Photos & User-Generated Content
By participating in a tour, you consent to us using photographs, videos, or feedback for promotional purposes, unless you explicitly object in writing.
13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Uganda, and any disputes will be resolved in Ugandan courts.
14. Other Provisions
- Any changes or waivers of these terms must be in writing and signed by both you and a Company representative.
- Invalidity of one provision does not affect the rest.
